In addition to the operating meetings, maintenance meetings are called as and when required.

No Shows: Members are asked to advise the Assistant Superintendent of the Line well before, if they are unable to attend an Operating Meeting. Call Trevor Hammond on 0208 659 0884 or on the day call Tim Crumplin on 0777 573 4853

Starting Times: Members are asked to attend by 10:00 hours at the latest to ensure that the outside sections are erected safely and operations started as early as possible. If the entrance gate is locked either phone 0777 573 4853 or walk up the track towards the sheds and call for attention through the hedge

Private Locomotives: Members wishing to run their own locomotives of the appropriate era - steam or diesel - may do so subject to approval by the Locomotive Superintendent or the Superintendent of the Line. Maximum of 2 locos per Club Member are allowed. A manufacturer's tension lock type coupling must be fitted at both ends of the loco (in case it has to run round its train) and all driving wheels must be clean.
